Our Story

The Outdoor Playgrounds was created by a young family that experienced firsthand the challenges of finding suitable parks and playgrounds for our children. Like many parents, we often didn't know what we were getting into until we arrived at a new park – sometimes finding wonderful facilities, other times discovering broken equipment or spaces not suitable for our kids' ages.

We built this resource to help families who are new to a city, traveling, or simply looking to explore beyond their usual park rotation. Our goal is to provide detailed, honest information about parks and playgrounds so that parents can make informed decisions before loading up the car with kids, snacks, and gear.
